Job Description

Role Summary: Responsible for overseeing the successful technical and commercial execution of projects and managing the personnel and resources. The Associate Director will be a client-orientated and capable communicator, able to develop strong relationships with clients and fellow professionals to secure repeat business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7Enhancing and growing the reputation of the company
\xc2\xb7Project Manager for projects led by the team
\xc2\xb7Technical delivery
\xc2\xb7Coordination with other Disciplines and Regions of the business
\xc2\xb7Technical compliance with all statutory and Quality Management System processes and
\xc2\xb7procedures
\xc2\xb7Financial and commercial responsibility
\xc2\xb7Recruitment and selection, training and appraisal of technical staff
\xc2\xb7Line management of staff and pastoral issues

Communication:

\xc2\xb7Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\xc2\xb7Strong interpersonal skills
\xc2\xb7Share knowledge and information widely with your colleagues
\xc2\xb7Develop effective client relationships
\xc2\xb7Able to represent the business at meetings and provide advice to clients on complex
\xc2\xb7engineering matters
\xc2\xb7Able to negotiate commercial/financial matters

Qualifications and Experience:

oChartered Engineer (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng)
oMember of relevant professional institution
oKnowledge of Discipline and applicable standards

oAbility in engineering design & reporting
oCommercially mature and capable
