Job Summary

The Genesis Programme is a major transformation initiative that brings together Treasury and Finance to automate, digitise, and integrate all reporting, planning, and forecasting processes on the strategic SAP Business Technology Platform.

This role plays a key part in that transformation -- leading the design and implementation of Treasury data products that will power critical decision-making across the Bank.

To succeed, you'll work across a wide network of stakeholders covering Liquidity, Interest Rate Risk, Capital, Balance Sheet and P&L.

Delivering on Genesis objectives requires a solid foundation in Treasury, Finance and Accounting, and the ability to bridge business needs with technology solutions.

You'll gain end-to-end exposure to the project lifecycle -- from interpreting business requirements and translating them into implementable technical specifications, to designing configurations, validating results, overseeing testing, and supporting go-live.

This is a problem solving role involving extensive use of data transformation tools and calculation engines -- ideal for someone curious, analytical, and eager to solve problems.

As a high-profile role working with multiple areas across the Bank, success depends on strong communication, influencing, and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret and translate business requirements into scalable solutions within the SAP platform. Work with key stakeholders to design Treasury data products for reporting, forecasting and analysis. Oversee and validate platform configurations, ensuring accuracy and control. Investigate unexpected platform outputs, drive issue resolution and continuous improvement. Participate in project working groups, offering input and direction on implementation challenges. Lead UAT processes and help teams resolve outstanding issues efficiently. Manage enhancement backlogs, prioritising changes based on impact and business value. Contribute to data quality forums and assess the impact of proposed changes to data sources.

Skills and Experience

Degree in a mathematical or science-based discipline. Recognised financial qualification (e.g. ACA, CFA) would be an asset. Strong ability to articulate business requirements clearly and translate them for technical teams. Interest in technology and digital platforms -- prior coding experience a plus. Understanding of UK liquidity regulatory reporting (LCR, CFMR, NSFR). Experience with banking book and financial markets products. Knowledge of cash flow modelling, liquidity risk, behavioural modelling, and FTP. Ability to work independently while managing relationships across global teams. Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills. Ability to break down complex, technical concepts into accessible insights. Excellent written and verbal English.
