Lester Aldridge is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join our esteemed team in Southampton. Your Responsibilities:

Client Advisory:

Provide clear and practical legal advice on employment law issues to clients in meetings, letters, and emails.

Legal Proceedings

: Assist and represent clients in employment-related litigation and tribunals.

Document Drafting

: Draft a wide range of employment contracts, policies, and other client documentation.

New Client Engagement

: Respond to initial enquiries, explain our services, and make cross-referrals where appropriate.

Legal Research

: Investigate complex issues and propose innovative legal solutions.

Compliance

: Adhere to firm procedures on anti-money laundering, engagement letters, billing, and time recording.

Thought Leadership

: Contribute to the development of employment law practices and share knowledge within the team.

Mentoring

: Support and guide junior team members.

Business Development

: Actively participate in marketing initiatives and grow client relationships.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications:

A qualified Solicitor with at strong experience in employment law.

Expertise:

Proven ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision.

Attributes:

Strong client service ethic, attention to detail, excellent time management, and a positive, team-oriented approach.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Flexibility:

Willingness to work flexibly to meet client needs.
