About the role
------------------
UCL Physics & Astronomy is seeking to appoint a full-time Associate Lecturer (Teaching) position for up to 9 months to support the delivery and development of our undergraduate courses. This role will support the delivery and development of our undergraduate teaching, particularly in the context of practical laboratory, computing and problem-solving tutorial classes. Across the year the person in role will have the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of the teaching and learning delivery: from development through delivery to assessment.
The starting salary for this post will be 47,451 per annum aligned with minimum starting salary for Associate Lecturer (Teaching) posts.

About you

Working within a professional, diverse and caring team, the successful applicant will be expected to deliver and support high quality teaching and enabling across designated modules and extra-curricular activities throughout the year. They will prepare classes and teaching materials and supervise students in laboratory or computational courses.
The successful candidate will contribute to all aspects of the teaching in the department including development, delivery, demonstration, supervision and assessment. They will also undertake professional development and research to underpin research-based education in Physics and Astronomy.
