JOB MISSION: As an Associate Marketing Manager you will be responsible for supporting with the planning and delivery of all brand communications & activations across UK & Ireland. Working as part of a team you will provide the best in class brand communication, events and activations, and purpose-driven initiatives across the key story calendar of performance and lifestyle launches, cultural and sporting moments and brand campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about New Balance and has the drive and cultural add to drive the brand forward. We offer hybrid working and a flexibility to working hours to accommodate for a healthy work life balance. Ideal candidates will be in the office 2 days per week. Regular travel will be involved within this role and a flexible approach to working hours will be required as evenings and weekend work will be required. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Support the planning and delivery of all brand related marketing communications across Paid Media, PR and Activations.
    • Day to day communication with retained agencies across Paid Media and PR to deliver the marketing briefs, ensuring plans and creative adhere to brand guidelines, team and category goals
    • Support the delivery of media planning, press office & PR key launches
    • Activation and press event management of key launches
    • Have full understanding of the New Balance consumer and where they sit within the wider customer journey through every campaign.
    • Working closely with wider UK & Ire/EMEA Marketing team to align activity through the consumer funnel and ensure efficiency at every step
    • Budget management and tracking
    • Sample Management
  • Support the creative concepting process for local initiatives such as London Marathon and be integral to the delivery of its content. Working closely with the partnership team to deliver against its objectives
    • Follow strategic creative and brand direction to support the planning phases of content production including contribution of desired asset plan versus communications and storytelling activities
    • Support on creative production across wardrobe, logistics, talent selection, still & video selections, legal, approvals, contracts.
  • Support & deliver activation objectives across experiential, PR and event led initiatives
    • Plan, build, and activate launch moments in the communications calendar
    • Activate experiential initiatives to leverage the brand to engage directly with the running and lifestyle consumers
    • Build PR led activations to promote product and brand across press, influencer and stakeholder networks
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
  • Previous experience working on events, familiar with the physical impacts of longer days
  • Experience of media planning, social media, PR and creative delivery essential
  • Commercial minded with a continuous improvement focus
  • Excellent understanding of working across multiple agencies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sports and/or retail background
  • Highly organised and able to work across multiple campaigns
  • Great understanding of customer profiles and 360\xe2\x80\x99 journey
  • Experience of event driven marketing and activations
  • Experience in a fast paced, brand environment with a strong eye for detail
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Possesses creative & analytical skillset
  • Able to problem solve and priorities tasks on a daily basis
