About The Role





We are looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to join our growing family team in London which is headed up by a Legal 500 and Chambers UK ranked lawyer and undertakes high end private financial remedy work.



Following our office move earlier this month, you will join our brand-new London office, and our highly trained team of specialist family lawyers. The team cover every aspect of family law, but the London team has a strong leaning towards financial remedy work.



Working alongside lawyers that are highly regarded in their field, you will work on a range of family matters, focusing predominantly on financial remedy work.


What we need you to do:




Advise on a range of issues across the breadth of family law, with a focus on financial remedy work. Develop the London offering which is new to the firm in the field of family law. This will involve establishing inter office business relationships with our growing London based lawyers and cross referral of work. Develop and maintain knowledge on issues within family law, working collaboratively with colleagues across the whole team to share knowledge. Contribute to business development opportunities and identify networking opportunities internally and externally, marketing and joining Resolution in London and attending their events. Assisting the Lead Partner with her workload but with a view to developing your own case load with an objective of a 2 year plan to develop and establish your own case load.

About You




You will need:




5 + years PQE A solid grounding in family law, with significant experience in financial remedy work. An ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and successfully manage client relationships Excellent technical ability and drafting skills To demonstrate teamwork and relationship building skills To have strong commercial acumen To be proactive, ambitious and organised with a keen eye for detail
