Attendance Administrator



37 hours per week



7.30am-3.30pm Mon-Thurs, 7.30am-3.00pm Fri



Term Time Only



Grade 5 SCP 7-11



Actual Salary 22,077- 23,531 (FTE 26,824-28,142)



An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support our attendance provision here at Castleford Academy.



You will:



Promote excellent levels of attendance across the Academy.

Provide a high-level administrative service to support the academie's attendance strategy.

Support and challenge both pupils and their families to improve their attendance.

Contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare of pupils who attend the academy.

Have overall responsibility for the input of pupil absence/attendance data and ensure it's accuracy and relevance.

You will be/have:



A confident and effective communicator.

Experience of working with families with complex needs.

Excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills.

Proven organisational, time management and problem solving skills.

The ability to deal with emotion packed situations in a calm and professional manner.

The ability to relate well to children and adults.

Flexible and adaptable with a 'can do' attitude.
