Attendance Improvement Officer

Attendance Improvement Officer
37 hours per week - Term time + 5 days
Grade 7 SCP 19 - 23 (Starting Salary 27,915)
Crofton Academy are seeking to recruit a tenacious Attendance Improvement Officer to join the Academy Attendance Team. We require a confident person who can ensure liaison between home and the Academy. The successful candidate will support and challenge both our young people and their families to improve their attendance.
The successful candidate will be:
A confident and effective communicator with an ability to persuade and negotiate.
Relentless in your drive to improve attendance across the Academy.
Able to cope with conflict in a positive manner.
Organised and analytical, with a desire for continuous improvement.
Able to think outside of the box in supporting and developing attendance initiatives,
Passionate about the education of children and young adults.
The ability to work on their own initiative, but also be able to work flexibly as part of a team.
The post holder will be responsible to the Associate Senior Leader/DSL - Attendance and Safeguarding. Please note the anticipated working hours for this post are 07:45 - 15:45 (15:15 Friday).
The successful candidate must have a full driving license with insurance for business purposes as they will be required to visit the homes of students/parents/carers on a regular basis.
