We are seeking a dedicated Auction Room Manager to oversee operations within our showroom environment. The ideal candidate will be physically fit as can involve some lifting and certainly involves being 'on your feet' sometimes throughout the day, a competent IT user with good people skills, meticulous in presentation, communication skills and must have an interest in fine art, antiques, collectables and design. Humility, politeness and excellent customer service essential attributes to this role. The role is crucial in ensuring that our processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our new Chester venue
Responsibilities
Manage daily showroom operations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards of presentation.
Oversee and manage consignments including shipping and receiving processes.
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing logistics.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Perform heavy lifting as necessary, maintaining physical fitness for the demands of the role.
Assist in process such as photography and cataloguing
Experience
Demonstrated ability in management, with excellent communication skills.
