We are seeking a Level 3 qualified Room Supervisor/Assistant Manager or part of Management Team to join us.
As Room Leader/Management you will play an important role in helping us provide the education and welfare for the future of our children, by offering them the very best care and education using our unique curriculum.
You will support your colleagues, overseeing the day to day running of your allocated nursery room. Making sure the planning and activities are relevant and appropriate for the children attending.
Your roles and responsibilities as Room Leader would include -Supporting the effective running of the nursery by being in an established routine and highly organised, having the ability to plan and prioritise your workload. Being positive, confident and honest and have good leadership ability. Have great initiative and a "can do" attitude. Always being positive and creating a friendly atmosphere with being part of a team within the room. Being open to explore new adventures and take on board other practitioners ideas and their abilities. Whilst being part of an exceptional team.
With an Outstanding Ofsted report. Embedding and upholding our policies, procedures and upholding our established working practices within the setting. Retaining a recognised level 3 qualification in childcare, whilst having some managerial experience would be an advantage though, training will be given. Supporting, colleagues, through induction, supervision and appraisal. Overseeing the day to day running of the nursery in the absence of the Manager and/or Deputy Manager. Being a "key person" for a group of children, ensure their care and development needs are being met at all times by completing relevant paperwork. Being able to hold relevant meetings with professionals and parents regarding their child or their needs. Holding relevant meetings for children with SEN and fully completing paperwork. Fully understanding and implementing safeguarding, health and safety and embedding our policies and procedures. Have a high quality knowledge of child development and education curriculum and fully understanding Ofsted requirements within their framework. Be a team player and embrace the skills and attributes of your team around you, giving valued experience and skills forward to meet the needs of the families that attend the setting. Support management with the day to day running of the setting.

Pay: From 14.00 per hour
