Purpose of Your Role

You'll lead and develop our engineering, technical support, project management, and stock functions, bringing people, processes, and priorities together to ensure we provide exceptional service, operational efficiency, and long?term value to our customers. Your leadership will help shape the experience of thousands of people who rely on our technology during life's most significant moments.

The Headlines


As AV Manager, you'll oversee the smooth day?to?day running of AV operations, ensuring high?quality service delivery while driving continual improvement across teams. You'll champion quality, process, and innovation; embed strong operational standards; and align AV operations with the wider business strategy. This role requires a blend of people leadership, operational insight, and a strong understanding of AV engineering.

People Management



Lead, coach, and mentor team members, ensuring high delivery standards and ongoing development. Ensure teams are appropriately resourced and skilled to meet current and future workloads. Build engagement across the teams, encouraging collaboration and advocacy both internally and externally. Set clear accountability and standards, ensuring they are understood and consistently achieved.

Oversee three key functions:

Engineering

Stock

, and

Technical Support

. Ensure stock availability for project and service needs, overseeing procurement, supplier relationships, and cost control. Support forecasting and commercial insight initiatives to enable long-term service and maintenance solutions for customers. Implement and embed a proactive asset management framework, ensuring lifecycle tracking, maintenance, reporting, and team-wide awareness. Standardise, refine, and implement operational processes, procedures, and documentation. Maintain ISO 9001 quality management standards, leading continuous improvement through audits, engagement, and education. Benchmark performance against industry best practice and identify areas for operational enhancement. Champion innovation, service excellence, and operational efficiency. Work with the H&S Lead to ensure safe practices are documented, understood, and followed. Own risk assessments, training, site audits, and incident investigations. Oversee maintenance of tools, vehicles, and facilities to ensure they are safe, compliant, and fit for purpose. Support departmental budgeting, purchase approvals, and expense sign-off. Build and maintain dashboards to provide insight and support decision?making. Produce monthly management reports and attend leadership meetings. Contribute technical and operational insight to innovation initiatives across the company. Ensure customer requests, escalations, and communications are handled promptly and professionally.

Experience & Qualifications



Proven experience managing AV, technical, engineering, or operational teams. Strong understanding of AV technologies, installation practices, or technical operations. Experience working within quality frameworks (ISO 9001 desirable). Understanding of health & safety practices and compliance requirements. Experience with budgeting, performance reporting, and operational planning. Full UK driving licence (due to occasional travel requirements).
