We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual or a security Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of audio visual telecommunication systems cctv alarms and networks This role requires a strong understanding of network infrastructure, equipment repair, and electrical systems to ensure seamless operation of all AV security and communication technologies across various client sites. Duties
Install, configure, and maintain audio visual systems including projectors, screens, sound systems, video conferencing equipment, and control systems.
Conduct network installation and integration for CCTV, VoIP, Ethernet, and other telecommunication systems.
Troubleshoot and repair AV equipment, computer hardware, and network issues using hand tools and technical schematics.
Set up and test routers, AP devices, Ubiquity systems, and other networking hardware to ensure optimal performance.
Assist with system upgrades, firmware updates, and calibration of AV components to meet client specifications.
Document system configurations using detailed schematics and technical documentation.
Perform electrical work related to system installations including wiring, grounding, and equipment repair.
Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver tailored AV solutions that meet operational needs.
Maintain safety standards during installation and repair activities in accordance with industry regulations.
Experience
Proven experience in telecommunication systems including CCTV, VoIP (Voice over IP), Ethernet networking, and computer networking principles.
Strong background in electrical work with hands-on experience using hand tools for equipment installation and repair.
Familiarity with Cisco routers, Juniper devices, Avaya communication systems, and Schematics interpretation.
Experience in network installation within commercial or industrial environments is highly desirable.
Knowledge of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair techniques.
Prior involvement in equipment calibration, system testing, and troubleshooting complex AV setups is preferred.
Relevant certifications or training in electrical systems or network engineering will be considered an advantage but not essential.
