Role

The role of an MSP AV Engineer covers setting up and operating AV equipment for planned live, hybrid and virtual events at MSP HQ and at local and regional venues. You will form part of a team to deliver high-end technical events to the corporate and events market. You will need to be highly skilled in the configuration and operation of a broad range of event technologies and be organised and focused, creative and a positive team player.

Key Responsibilities

Excellent working knowledge of all AV equipment and services offered by MSP.o Ensure equipment is handled with care and packaged correctly. o Able to follow a brief from internal and external managers and clients to produce
a high-quality technical production.

Interpreting CAD plans to prepare AV system designs.o Ability to record audio and edit playback.o To mix audio for broadcast and streaming videos.o Able to trouble-shoot with ease and provide solutions.o To work well as part of a team, helping other technicians when required.o To Provide on-site solutions and advice to clients.o To ensure that all AV equipment being used is correctly prepped, packed and transported and secure on site.o Assistance in the Warehouse with prepping, checks, maintenance and manual handling.o To ensure equipment is packaged correctly, transported safely and secure on site. o Adher to Health & Safety standards and regulations.
Experience

Significant experience in the Live Events & Production Industry.o Experience of working with production schedules and client briefs.o A technical qualification and/or relevant AV experience required.o Previous experience in a similar role working with digital AV equipment.o A strong working knowledge of IT and networks.

Working Hours

A flexible approach to working hours will be required due to weekend and late night-time schedules, which are managed around flexible shift rotas to ensure a good work-life balance.

Overtime is paid at the normal hourly rate, however time off in lieu is preferred and scheduled over quieter periods or usually after longer shifts.
