Job Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity that will help you gain work experience and kick-start your career in the Audio Visual industry. Kick-start your career in the Sound, Lighting and Audio Visual industry. Some experience or interest in sound and visual would be very useful. However we are willing to put the effort in to teaching the right candidate.

Your role responsibilities include set up and installation of media equipment such as LCD projectors, speakers, TVs, live band PA, tripods and multi cameras angle viewpoints. You will learn to run cabling, position lighting and use aps such as Switcher Studio to broadcast the service via our social media platforms.

You will need to set up and alter room arrangements including tables, seats, and stages according to blueprints, layout diagrams, and schedules to allow for optimal viewing.

Although this is a voluntary position, travel will be paid, for the right candidate this may become a lovely weekend earner, giving you a chance to pursue your careers during the week.

8 am - 2pm on Sundays

Zion City Church is new plant in the London Docklands area of East London. We are at the beginning of our journey to reach out to the Isle of Dogs community and as such this is a great opportunity for a fresh start-up team to grow with us as we navigate our growth and establishment in the area.

Note: 95% of our (Audio Visual industry) interns are now in full-time employment in the city, with great jobs, good positions and with good pay.

Qualifications

A degree in audio and visual media, sound, light, or live event technology A HND in audio visual technology A BTEC in creative media
