About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Technician with a strong background in Audio Visual (AV) systems to join our growing team in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and AV systems across various commercial and corporate environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, test, and commission Audio Visual and electrical systems in line with industry standards.

Diagnose and repair faults in AV, control, and electrical circuits.

Carry out planned maintenance and upgrades on AV and electrical installations.

Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to deliver high-quality installations.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company quality standards.

Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff when required.

Maintain accurate records of installations, tests, and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years' experience working in the Audio Visual (AV) or electrical installation field.

NVQ Level 5 or above in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Strong technical understanding of AV systems (projection, sound, video conferencing, control systems, etc.).

Good knowledge of electrical wiring, circuits, and system integration.

Ability to read and interpret electrical/AV schematics and documentation.

Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills.

Full UK driving licence (preferred).

Willingness and ability to relocate to Coventry.
