Due to an increase in work we are recruiting for an accounts/audit semi-senior who is competent in preparing accounts under FRS102, including under Section 1A, together with the associated corporation tax returns. The successful candidate will have some experience of completing personal tax returns too, and should have a good working knowledge of accounting software such as Xero. The individual should have excellent client communication skills and also be able to support and develop junior members of staff by training them, answering questions and also reviewing the work of junior team members.
The role will require directly liaising with clients as well as directors and junior staff members, so excellent communication and delegation skills are essential. We would expect the successful candidate to progress to senior level within the firm in the next 2 to 3 years.
The role will be 100% office based as it will allow the audit team members to interact with each other to ensure that client deliverables are met.
