Auto Electrical Delivery Driver
Job Description
Panks Auto Electrical are looking for an experienced Delivery Driver to work in our very successful and friendly team. You would need to be a team player and have great attention to detail.
Undertaking all delivery duties in a safe manner and observing all speed limits.
Developing product knowledge
Delivering parts/goods to customers in a range of locations (rural and city based)
Taking payments for goods and collecting monthly account cheques.
Collecting parts/goods for return/give credit notes and checking invoices.
Loading van ready for despatch, keeping van tidy and carrying out monitoring checks.
Reporting hazards to the manager.
Representing the company in a positive manner, always being polite and courteous.
Working well within the team and helping other departments as required
Any duties that reasonable fall within the scope of the role
Skills Needed
Numerate Good verbal and written communication Organisational and methodical Physical fitness Team player Full driving licence, ability to map read if required. Reliable and trustworthy
Working hours would 8.30am -5.30pm. 42.5 hours per week with 1/2 hour unpaid lunch break.
There would be a 3-6 month probationary period, then permanent for the right candidate.
Pay would be minimum wage
23 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
