Job Description

This vacancy is for a Automated Door Engineer to work for a family-run firm in Westcliff-on-Sea. Full training will be provided but an engineering/electrical background would be beneficial.

The suitable candidate will accompany an experienced installation/maintenance engineer to carry out access control and door/window automation works on a nationwide basis, until fully trained. Works are primarily conducted on domestic properties and you will be required to assist in a "hands on" role.

Rate of pay to be agreed dependent on experience.

Overnight stays will be required on an ad-hoc basis with expenses and flat-rate overnight fee paid.

This is a full-time, permanent vacancy. Monday to Friday.

Skill Requirements:

Previous engineering/electrical experience (Required) CSCS card (Preferred) Driving licence that has been held for over two years (Required) General practical skills and a good basic education Be physically fit as the role involves manual handling Good communication skills and a friendly and courteous disposition as the work involves contact with customer
