Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Automation Engineer located in Ashford. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation systems for various projects. Day-to-day tasks include programming and configuring automation equipment, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role also involves conducting regular maintenance checks to ensure the seamless operation of automation systems.

Qualifications

Strong skills in programming and configuring automation equipment

Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements

Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and stakeholders

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Minimum of 5 years experience

GateSafe or DHF training preferred but not required
