Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Interiors professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in design software and a passion for creating innovative automotive interior solutions.

:

Minimum 15 years' Experience in Product Development Engineering Experience in Automotive Interior Systems, Like Cockpit, Console, Cabin Trims, and Seating in OEM or component supplier is preferred. Responsible for Design & Data releases and technical issue closures for Interiors Systems Managing the Vehicle BOMs and Engineering Changes Strong Project management skills through Project documentation, trackers & escalations Ownership for product development, change management, supplier coordination, and issue resolutions Coordination with various functional departments Creating and managing engineering databases with vehicle categorization and providing the vehicle specs and drawings for homologation certifications. Tracking of product testing and validation and issue resolutions Ownership of Gateway Deliverables Managing Sample trials & Gateway Vehicle Builds Timely addressing of customer complaints and field issues and provide resolutions Creation and improvement of Engineering processes for quality improvement Executing the VA/VE projects to reduce the BOM cost by standardization, commoditization and optimization of parts Knowledge on APQP, Quality systems, DFMEA, DVP, etc. Excellent problem-solving techniques and Experience performing engineering calculations

Pay: 52,880.00-62,732.08 per year
