industry? We're looking for an experienced, proactive and professional
Customer Service Advisor
to join our busy vehicle workshop specialising in prestige marques - BMW, MINI and MERCEDES.
This is a first contact customer-facing role where you'll be the main point of contact for our valued clients who bring their vehicles to us for servicing, diagnostic and repairs. You'll need to have relative experience for our role, as you will play a key part of our team ensuring the service process runs smoothly from start to finish, and you will be working closely with the workshop technicians to deliver an efficient and high-quality customer experience. Previous experience in an Automotive background is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Positive welcome to all visitors, and assist customers with service bookings, queries, and progress updates.
Communicate effectively across various channels including phone, email, and WhatsApp.
Provide accurate advice and information on vehicle servicing and technical matters.
Liaise with the workshop and line manager to coordinate job scheduling and manage workloads.
Keep customers informed on progress and follow up post-service to ensure satisfaction.
Upsell relevant services and products where appropriate, price any repairs needed confidently (labour + parts).
Ensure customer service records and documentations are kept up to date and accurate. Register services to online electronic portals.
Manage the customer flow, by coordinating vehicle collections and drop off, including loan vehicles for customer convenience.
Maintain highest quality control standards across all works, through to the completed jobs.
What We're Looking For:
A strong communicator with a friendly, professional yet welcoming approach.
Confident dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone.
Previous motor trade experience in a customer service or service advisor role.
Comfortable using digital tools such as workshop software, Excel, Email and WhatsApp etc.
Highly organised and able to handle a variety of tasks such as answering calls, greeting visitors, preparing paperwork, and returning messages simultaneously.
A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude to excel in the position.
A level of knowledge about vehicle servicing is desirable, though not essential.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
