GHMG is a newly established business venture (opened 2025) within an existing motor group that aims to address the poor customer experiences, high costs & low satisfaction scores found within the vehicle maintenance industry.
We are an independent dealership that supports 3 -10 year old vehicles with main dealer standards at affordable prices. We forge long term, forward thinking partnerships with our customers, proactively keeping them one step ahead at all times and reducing any anxiety that comes with owning a used vehicle.
The Role
The overall purpose of this role is to support the service manager in the the smooth running and profitability of the Service Department, ensuring excellent customer experiences and efficient internal operations.
USP's of the position;
With adequate investment, you will be helping establish a new dept. and processes from scratch, working closely with the GHMG service manager to shape the future of the business.
Successful execution of the 3 year business plan will naturally lead to this person being our next Service Manager.
You'll have full autonomy to build, lead, manage, and motivate a team of automotive professionals, including technicians, service advisors and parts specialists.
Key Responsibilities
Sales
Responsible for working with our existing customer acquisition channels to support with increasing workshop hours within a busy competitive market. This will involve outbound calls and generating quotes
Support in creating new and creative initiatives to increase our customer base.
Maintaining a strong CRM system and approach to existing customers ensure they receive regular communications with us.
Customer Service
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction in line with our brand expectations
Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
Operational Management
Have the highest standards with regards to data storage & systems (DMS) usage.
Oversee daily operations of the service department, including customer, team & workshop management.
Continuously implement and improve processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and brand standards.
Financial Performance
Drive sales and profitability of the service department
Meet or exceed personal KPI's and targets
Identify opportunities for upselling products and services
Quality Control
Regularly audit work to ensure high standards of repair and customer experience
Oversee inspections and preparation of service reports.

A track record of success in a Service/Aftersales department
Or currently a high achieving Jnr Service Advisor within a high performing service department that is looking for that next step. (a solid number two that wants to be number 1)

Working Hours
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with every 3rd Saturday morning.
Note we are completely flexible to circumstances and will consider PT or Flexible working
Package
27,500 - 34,000 Basic Salary + Overtime + On Target Earnings (c.4,000)
Reviewed every six months aligned with company performance
Pension
25 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
