ND Services Ltd is a long established and growing business operating from our purpose built site at Membury, just off the M4. We provide car and commercial vehicle repair and servicing alongside industry leading roadside breakdown and recovery services across Reading, the M4 corridor and Oxfordshire.

Why we're hiring:

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Service Manager or Senior Service Advisor to take ownership of the day to day running of our workshop operation. Customer care is central to everything we do, and consistency and attention to detail matter just as much as technical knowledge.

The role:

You will be the main link between our customers and technicians, managing jobs from booking through to completion and invoicing. This includes planning and scheduling servicing, repairs, inspections and MOTs, controlling workflow, communicating clearly with customers and technicians, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and accurately. You will be expected to understand repair processes, listen to technical information, make sound decisions, and keep control of the workshop rather than reacting to problems after they arise.

Full time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5:30pm.

Key responsibilities:

Planning and scheduling all workshop activity Raising job cards and tracking vehicles through the workshop Liaising with technicians and interpreting technical feedback Communicating clearly with customers regarding work required, costs and timescales Upselling additional work where appropriate and agreed Ensuring invoicing is accurate and completed on time Maintaining a smooth, controlled workflow within the workshop

What we need from you:

Proven experience in a Service Advisor, Service Controller or Service Manager role Background within the automotive repair industry Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to plan work properly and see it through Confident, clear communication with customers and technicians A calm, professional approach in a pressurised environment A full UK driving licence
