Role Overview

As an Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 Emissions, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and reliable emission and fuel consumption testing. You will be responsible for liaising with clients, overseeing vehicle preparation and equipment installation, conducting tests using state-of-the-art facilities, and formulating comprehensive test reports. Collaborating closely with technicians and other engineers, you will contribute to exceeding client expectations and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Spearhead engineering vehicle emissions testing projects for a wide range of customers.
  • Conduct various tests predominantly on chassis dynamometers, following different cycles.
  • Collaborate with engineers to design test plans and timelines.
  • Establish effective communication with clients to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Provide guidance and support to emissions technicians, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Collect and validate test results from various logging equipment for approval.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant testing regulations and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Develop enhanced systems for data handling and manipulation.
  • Adhere to quality systems and health and safety procedures at all times.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Automotive Engineering Degree or other relevant discipline.
  • Experience in chassis dynamometer emissions and fuel economy testing.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in analysing and compiling technical data.
