Av Service Engineer
Job Description
Pioneer Group offer a specialist service in creating impactful digital signage in retail, hospitality and corporate environments, including: Stadium LED, digital menu boards, bespoke retail displays, EOPS and touch-point ordering. We are currently looking for an AV Service Engineer to join our team in Reading.
Whilst previous AV experience is desired, this is not an essential requirement; you will have experience of working in a field-based role; this position will involve UK travel as a daily/core element predominantly covering the South of the UK, including occasional overnight stays.
The position will be supporting our large client base with their Audio-Visual technology on a service basis and supporting our Installations team.
Overtime rate at time and a third + paid travel.
Job Specification
AV Service Engineer duties include, but are not limited to:
Travelling to the client's site as required. Fault finding through to resolution. Replacing AV equipment, internal and external. Reporting back to the service and maintenance team. Training in new digital signage, meeting room and LED solutions. Regular stock checking and maintaining levels of stock
Candidate Specification
Essential Requirements:
Experience within a similar role working to strict SLA's. Experience working in a field-based engineering role, across multiple site locations. Experience of using power tools and hand tools. Excellent communication skills, able to use initiative and professionalism. Experience of working within a team and individually. Full UK Driving License. Ability to commute to Reading daily.
Desired Requirements:
Experience of Digital Signage, Projectors, Video walls, LED. Warehouse Responsibilities. Knowledge of AV systems Survey & Specification
Skills Required:
Good PC knowledge Excellent IT skills and knowledge of networks. CSCS/ECS Card
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 29,000.00-32,000.00 per year
