The Role




Creative Technology has an exciting new opportunity for an AV Technician to join the team. The role is full-time and based in London with a leading multinational technology company. The AV Technician will be responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of AV Production and support for live events and conferencing. The role involves designing and delivering innovative solutions ensuring all technical aspects are seamlessly executed, providing high-quality audio-visual experience for the end client. Core working hours will be standard business hours with flexibility required for evening and occasional weekend work. Background verification checks are required for this role.


Main Responsibilities:




Live on-site event support including sound, vision, lighting, and staging. Event Planning including coordination and logistics Technical design and execution of on-site, virtual and hybrid events and productions On-site troubleshooting to resolve hardware/software issues, minimizing equipment downtime Delivery of structured user training Build and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders, regularly liaising to deliver a first-class service Recommend best practices for events and provide support with event media and presentations Post event review including reporting and client feedback Documentation of AV setups, configurations, and key insights to build a knowledge base for recurring or similar events. Perform regular, scheduled PPM's including testing, updating & calibrating. Management and regular maintenance of both installed and portable AV equipment Keeping up to date with new technologies and implementing these into current workflow and systems Handling of confidential information and upholding NDA's

Quality Management System Responsibilities




Comply with the company's Quality Management System requirements i.e., perform your work according to your process documents and procedures, maintaining document information and completing department forms/records as required. Understand and apply our quality policy statements in all aspects of your work. Contribute towards achieving company objectives Ensure that the needs and requirements of the company's internal staff and customers are understood and delivered. Help develop and improve the company's internal processes and management system by reporting corrective actions, updates, and improvement ideas.

Licenses/Certificates:




CTS Certification preferable Manual Handling certificate preferable

Experience:




3+ years relevant experience working in a similar environment Strong knowledge of modern AV equipment and systems including signal flow and advanced troubleshooting Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 Copilot

Education:




Level 3 qualification or higher in relevant field * Qualification in IT Networking desirable
