We're looking for a hands-on IT Support Technician to join our team for a 12-month contract. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out on the floor, solving real-world problems, and getting stuck in with physical set up work. You'll be involved in everything from end-user desktop support to IT equipment moves and small AV installation tasks - perfect for someone practical, reliable and looking for varied, on-the-ground IT experience. This role includes some evening and weekend work, with overtime paid at enhanced rates.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing deskside and hands-on IT support to users across various sites.
Setting up and relocating IT equipment (laptops, monitors, docking stations etc.).
Installing and adjusting small AV systems (screens, cameras, soundbars, HDMI extenders etc.).
Using hand and power tools (drills, screwdrivers, cable crimpers etc.) to install or mount equipment.
Supporting meeting room technology and basic AV troubleshooting.
Imaging and configuring new hardware for deployment.
Assisting with basic network patching and identifying cabling issues.
Keeping accurate records of assets and completed work.
Working to health & safety and site-specific protocols at all times.
ABOUT YOU
Previous experience in an IT support or technician role (onsite or field based).
Strong practical skills - confident working with tools, lifting equipment, and setting up physical environments.
Solid understanding of Windows 10/11 and Office 365.
Good interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to customer support.
Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a small team.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required (overtime rates apply).
Willing and able to obtain BPSS clearance status. To be eligible, you must have lived continuously in the United Kingdom for the past 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements. During the recruitment process, we will ask you questions to assess your eligibility, including residency history, citizenship and nationality.
Desirable (but not essential):
Experience with AV equipment or video conferencing platforms (e.g. Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom).
Familiarity with IT asset management or ticketing systems.
Awareness of basic network setups and patching.
A full UK driving licence.
