Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Technician with hands-on experience in end-user support and infrastructure troubleshooting to join our team.


You will have had either exposure or an interest in Business Intelligence (BI) tools and MS Power Platform development, with an interest to grow into a more data-focused role over time.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to bridge the gap between IT operations and data analytics, with a clear path for progression with Power Platform development and BI.
requirements
Essential:


3-4 years of experience in IT support.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with Office 365, Active Directory, basic networking, and remote support tools
Interest in data analysis, reporting, or transitioning into a data centric role
Excellent communication and customer service skills


Desirable:


Exposure to or basic hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL)
Familiarity with APIs and data integration tools.
responsibilities
IT Support:


Provide Tier 1 and 2 support for hardware, software, networking, and system-related issues (Windows, Office 365, Azure/Entra Active Directory, etc.)
Troubleshoot and resolve user issues via ticketing system, phone, or in person
Maintain and configure laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices
Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights
Manage and maintain strong relationships with external support partners and suppliers.
Support IT infrastructure tasks in conjunction with external support partners
Document technical procedures and maintain asset inventory
Assist with IT onboarding/offboarding processes


Power Platform Exposure & Development:


Support data extraction, transformation, and reporting tasks under the guidance of the team.
Assist in the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards or similar tools
Participate in data quality assurance and issue resolution
Design and develop automations complimentary to the wider business systems.
Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and contribute to data-driven decision-making
Learn and apply best practices in data modeling and integration.
