Salary Tiers:



25,000 - 27,000:

For candidates with 0.5 -2 years of basic experience in AV, sound, and lighting. You have foundational skills in AV setups and operations, and are eager to learn and grow within a supportive team environment.

27,000 - 29,000:

For candidates with 2- 3 years of experience and the ability to manage small projects independently. You can confidently operate AV equipment, assist in event setups, and contribute to the creation of quotes and client interactions.

29,000 - 32,000:

For candidates with 3+ years of experience, capable of handling complex AV setups and managing event logistics. You have experience with client communication, preparing detailed quotes, and leading small teams.

32,000 - 35,000:

For candidates with extensive experience, including team leadership and project management. You are proficient in creating detailed quotations, managing logistics, leading teams, and ensuring the technical success of large-scale events. You have the ability to mentor junior technicians and handle client relationships independently.

Your Role:



Prepare and deliver AV equipment for events. Set up and operate audio, visual, and lighting equipment for live events. Craft quotations and orders based on client requirements. Collaborate with clients to ensure their event needs are met to the highest standard. Manage logistics, layout, and wiring diagrams for event setups. Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure equipment is well-maintained and ready for use. Provide technical support during events, troubleshooting issues as they arise. Contribute to team improvement and training initiatives.

Essential Skills:



Experience:

At least 1-5 years of experience in the AV, sound, and lighting industry, depending on the salary tier.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding and hands-on experience with AV equipment, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting.

Communication:

Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.

IT Proficiency:

Competency in using relevant software (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote, Vmix).

Teamwork:

A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.

Problem-Solving:

Detail-oriented with the ability to solve problems efficiently on-site.

Flexibility:

Ability to work early starts, late finishes, and weekends as required by event schedules.

Driving License:

Clean UK driving license.

Work Eligibility:

Legal right to work in the UK.

Preferred Skills:



While not essential, the following skills would be advantageous:

Experience with Current-RMS or similar rental software. Basic skills in Photoshop, Davinci Resolve, or CAD software. BS7909 qualification.

Working Hours:



This role requires flexibility, including early starts, late finishes, and weekend work. Our standard working schedule includes 5 shifts per week, totaling 40 hours, with time off in lieu or overtime for additional hours worked.
