About the Role:





Due to growth, we are looking for an electrical biased new member into join our aerospace production team based at our state of the art facilities in Fareham (Segensworth).



On offer is a hands-on position as an electronics assembly technician where you will become a key specialist member in a small team heavily involved in all electrical aspects and components involved in the building and commissioning the product.



Aerospace experience isn't a must, we are looking for someone who holds strong experience from an electronics industry background, whom may have held several roles during their career and thus able to demonstrate depth and breath of experience and knowledge.



You may have gained electrical skills whilst working on cars, motorbikes, machinery, or hold an interest in model planes, cars, aircraft and so forth, able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and the ability to transfer these skills into a technical position.



Responsibilities




Manufacturing of avionics systems to meet scheduled customer demand. Feedback of process and build pain points to Manufacturing Team. On site support as required during installation and flight testing of new systems. Other responsibilities as agreed with your manager. Act always in a safe manner and in support of our Health and safety agenda. Work in accordance with company values, policies, procedures and guidelines.



Skills and qualifications




Technically capable with good logical reasoning Ability to adapt and learn new skills Good presentation and communication skills Ability to follow and give feedback on engineering drawings Manufacturing Process Knowledge Hand and production soldering / PCBA production / Gerber File assessment Cable assembly (Power systems, high-integrity signals, RF) Box build experience General workshop machining experience Prior relevant industry experience (desirable) Experience using MCAD and ECAD tools (desirable) IPC qualifications CIS or greater (IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-WHMA-620-A) (desirable) * UAV industry knowledge (desirable)
