Trainee Avionics Technician - Full Time - Permanent

Are you looking to start an exciting career in aviation? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our growing team as a Trainee Avionics Technician.

This entry-level role is ideal for someone with a passion for electronics and aviation who is eager to learn and develop hands-on skills in a fast-paced, regulated environment. You will receive full training from experienced engineers and gain exposure to a wide range of commercial aircraft avionics systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the repair and testing of aircraft electrical and avionics components under supervision

- Learn to operate Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and diagnostic tools

- Support experienced technicians in fault-finding, disassembly, and board-level repair

- Accurately record test results and repair data in line with quality standards

- Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe working environment

- Actively participate in internal training and development programs

- Account for working hours using the company's timesheet system

Desired Skills & Qualifications

- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade A-C (4-9), including English and Mathematics

- A strong interest in electronics, engineering, or aviation (BTEC or similar is a plus)

- Practical mindset and willingness to learn new tools and techniques

- Basic computer literacy (Excel, Word, etc.)

- Good communication skills and team spirit

- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
