Job Description

As an AV/IT Design Engineer you'll be at the heart of delivering world-class AV/IT solutions for our clients.

From concept to completion you'll be part of the design journey - shaping detailed plans, collaborating with CAD teams, guiding technical delivery and ensuring each project is handed over at the highest standard.

This is a hand-on role where your expertise directly influences client satisfaction and project success.

Responsibilities:



Work closely with clients and project managers to set clear budgets, timelines and expectations. Take conceptual designs from the sales stage and transform them into detailed, deployment-ready design packages. Be part of the design engineering process on large-scale AV/IT projects. Provide expert technical guidance to support system architecture, installation and integration of AV, IT and control solutions. Create detailed schematics in AutoCAD and provide precise mark-ups for construction drawings. Oversee project close-out by validating redlines and ensuring high-quality As-Built documentation for clients.

Requirements:



proven experience in designing AV/IT systems. Strong knowledge of the full project lifecycle; from program and concept through construction and commissioning. A solid understanding of construction processes, installation and integration, as well as reading and interpreting technical drawings/specifications. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving abilities and confidence tackling technical challenges. Clear, concise communication skills for explaining complex ideas.

Desirable Criteria:



Avixa CTS-D certification Certification or training in DSP platforms (Biamp, QSC, ClearOne etc.) Certification or training in control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX etc.) Experience with complementary technologies (Cisco, Mircosoft and others).
