We're now building something extraordinary -- the CloudiQS Generative AI Excellence Hub, our dedicated capability centre for building, scaling, and operationalising real-world Generative AI solutions on AWS.

The Opportunity

As the founding Lead of the Generative AI Excellence Hub, you'll:

Build and lead a hands-on team of AI engineers, architects, and data scientists focused on AWS-native GenAI solutions. Design and deliver end-to-end GenAI architectures using Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Kendra, OpenSearch, Lambda, Step Functions, and related AWS services. Develop reusable frameworks, best practices, and accelerators for RAG, fine-tuning, model governance, and prompt engineering. Prototype and productionise GenAI use-cases for clients across industries -- from concept to deployment. Partner with AWS Solution Architects and Partner Development Managers to align on enablement, competencies, and joint go-to-market initiatives. Act as a hands-on technical authority for all things Generative AI within CloudiQS -- mentoring, guiding, and scaling capability across the business. Shape the technical strategy and roadmap for how CloudiQS delivers next-generation GenAI solutions on AWS.
What You'll Bring

7 + years' experience in AI/ML or cloud engineering, with deep hands-on AWS expertise. Proven success designing and deploying production-grade GenAI or ML solutions. Expertise with Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Comprehend, Kendra, OpenSearch, and modern data pipelines. Proficiency in Python, AWS SDKs, Lambda, and MLOps best practices. Solid understanding of foundation models, prompt design, fine-tuning, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). Awareness of Responsible AI, security, cost optimisation, and AWS governance. Strong communicator -- able to collaborate with engineers, clients, and AWS field teams alike. AWS Certifications (e.g. Machine Learning - Specialty, Solutions Architect - Professional) are a strong plus.They
