We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Azure Engineer to join our Research & Development (R&D) team at Kinetic. As our hosting strategy for customer systems has evolved from on-premise to cloud-based services, we aim to provide consistent, robust, and efficient delivery. With around 60 hosted customers and more migrating every year, this role offers a great opportunity to grow your skills in cloud computing and be part of an exciting transition.
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in cloud computing technologies, with a focus on Microsoft Azure. You will be eager to learn, proactive in problem-solving, and ready to contribute to the continuous improvement of our cloud offering.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and maintenance of our Azure platform, helping to increase engineering capacity within the team and improve platform availability.
Support the implementation of best practices for Azure and help to increase organizational knowledge around cloud technologies.
Contribute to improving the efficiency of the customer onboarding process.
Help maintain and utilize Azure data output to support decision-making and strategy development.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Basic understanding of cloud security and compliance requirements, such as ISO27001 or PCI-DSS.
Interest in learning about automated CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with any programming language (e.g., Python, Go, C#, JavaScript) is a bonus.
Exposure to other cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is advantageous.
Experience or interest in virtual desktop/app products like Azure Virtual Desktop or Citrix.
