Job Description
Coughtrie International operates, predominantly in the UK, from its operational base in Glasgow, Scotland. Since its inception in 1941, the company has built an enviable reputation producing luminaires for arduous environments and is proud to boast that Coughtrie luminaires are "British Built to Last".
Having expanded the portfolio over the last few years and refined our approach to the market, we are looking to recruit a B2B Industrial Marketing Assistant to work across our range of brands and products. This varied, hands' on role spans a wide range of market sectors each requiring its own tailored approach and presents an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on variety and hard work.
This is a full-time role based in our office in Hillington with some travel to customer sites. This is not a hybrid role and there is no option of working from home.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Implement our marketing strategy
Think creatively and develop compelling messages and content Creation of promotional marketing materials and campaigns Produce product-positioning content including thought leader articles Carry out market research and compile and maintenance of databases Website maintenance and updates Data insight and analysis and using this data to formulate findings and reports Marketing lead generation via activity Liaising with external branding and website agencies Supporting the co-ordination of events and exhibitions Any other general office duties
??To be considered for this position, you must possess/be:
A minimum of 2-3 years' experience within a B2B marketing role, ideally within an Industrial environment
Marketing creativity and proven experience of organising all aspects of marketing collateral with a solid understanding of marketing principles Ability to work in a stand alone role as well as functioning well as part of a team Proactive attitude and willing to make things happen Good attention to detail with strong communication skills in all areas Demonstrate ability to multi task and adhere to deadlines Highly efficient and organised Excellent literacy & IT skills
Other desirable criteria:
A marketing related qualification
You must have the right to work in the UK.
