About Us



Potentia Engineering specialises in delivering high-quality commercial renewable-energy solutions across the UK, including solar PV, battery storage, EV charging and smart-energy systems. We are an engineering-led business focused on accuracy, reliability and delivering measurable financial and carbon savings for our clients.

As our commercial division grows, we are looking for a motivated B2B Sales Consultant to help expand our footprint and win new business across commercial and industrial sectors.

The Role



This is a B2B sales position focused on bringing renewable-energy solutions to businesses, schools, industrial sites, and commercial estates. You will manage the full sales cycle--from prospecting and qualification through to proposal, negotiation and contract close--supported by our experienced engineering and design teams.

The compensation model is performance-led, offering a modest base salary with uncapped earning potential for high performers.

Key Responsibilities

Build and manage a commercial sales pipeline through outreach, networking and referrals Conduct discovery meetings and gather site information for technical design Present proposals, ROI models and commercial value to senior decision-makers Lead negotiations and secure signed commercial contracts Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets Maintain structured CRM activity, forecasting and follow-up Represent Potentia professionally in client meetings and industry settings

What We're Looking For



Proven B2B sales experience (renewables, engineering, construction, energy or similar preferred) Strong communication and commercial presentation skills Confident engaging senior stakeholders and multi-level decision-makers Motivated by performance-based compensation Organised, proactive and disciplined with pipeline management Full UK driving licence

Earning Structure



Low Base Salary + Uncapped Commission

Clear and transparent earning model:

Uncapped commission paid on each closed project Typical commissions: 60k project ? approx. 1,800 120k project ? approx. 3,600 250k project ? approx. 7,500 Accelerators apply when hitting higher annual revenue thresholds Bonus opportunities based on overall performance Realistic OTE: 90,000-140,000+
