Job Description

The successful applicant will demonstrate advanced level occupational therapy skills in assessment and diverse interventions to facilitate rehabilitation and discharge planning. A willingness to learn and develop further, both clinically and professionally and to lead on this within the team is essential. The successful applicant must be open minded to new ways of working and lead on this. The ideal individual for this role needs to be flexible, dynamic and forward thinking.



Strong leadership qualities are essential in this post, alongside advocating for the OT role in the MDT setting. You will demonstrate an ability to work autonomously to an advanced level and provide support to other members of the team, including peers, Band 5 OTs, including preceptees, support workers and students. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work flexibly to support the needs of the service. This role is a permanent position, offered full time (37.5h).



Core hours are working Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. Additional duties will include participation in weekend working these are rostered approximately once per month but many increase depending on clinical need. Please see the detailed job description and person specification for more information.
