About the Role
As our Baby Room Practitioner, you will support each baby's holistic development, emotional security, and wellbeing. You will help to create a calm, nurturing and stimulating environment where babies feel safe, supported and able to explore through warm and responsive interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, attuned and responsive care to support babies' physical, emotional and developmental needs
Foster secure bonds and promote emotional wellbeing through gentle and sensitive interactions
Plan and deliver sensory-rich, engaging and developmentally appropriate experiences
Observe and record progress, contributing to termly assessments
Build trusting, respectful and supportive relationships with parents and carers
Maintain knowledge of current childcare practice and legislation
Ensure all safeguarding, safety and compliance expectations are consistently upheld
Embrace the joy of working with our littlest children
Qualifications and Experience
Required:
Minimum Level 2 qualification in childcare
Experience working with babies in an early years setting
Understanding of baby development, care routines and attachment needs
Strong communication skills
Soft skills that are essential for success in this role:

Ability to tune into babies' cues and needs
A collaborative and supportive attitude with colleagues
