Job Overview

Due to an increase in numbers we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our team. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. We are looking for someone who is level 2 or level 3 qualified but would accept someone who is not qualified but has experience working within a childcare or education setting. The hours will be 8-6 4 or 5 days per week (full time) or 8-6 for 2-3 days per week (part time).

Responsibilities

- Create and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children
- Plan fun and stimulating activities that align with the curriculum
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Assess and monitor the progress of each child
- Collaborate with other members of staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and progress
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities

Experience

- Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
