Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children in a nursery setting. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to manage children's needs, and a passion for early childhood education. The Nursery Nurse will work closely with children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development through engaging activities.

Duties

Provide attentive care and supervision for children in the nursery. Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive environment. Manage daily routines including feeding, nappy changing, and nap times. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development. Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for all children. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings and overall experience for children.

Qualifications

Level 3 in Childcare or Teaching Qualification Level 3 or higher Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is highly desirable. Strong English communication skills are required for effective interaction with children and parents. Leadership qualities to guide and inspire young learners are preferred. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and nurturing environment. A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their development. A valid driving licence is an advantage but not mandatory.
