Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Baby Room Practitioner to join our nurturing team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and education to infants and toddlers in a safe and stimulating environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of early childhood education, and the ability to manage the needs of young children effectively.

Responsibilities



Provide attentive and responsive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Develop and implement engaging activities that promote early learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community. Manage daily routines, including feeding, nappy changing, and nap times, while maintaining a clean and organised nursery environment. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents. Collaborate with other practitioners to create a positive atmosphere that encourages children's socialisation and independence. Drive initiatives that promote best practices in childcare within the nursery setting.

Qualifications



A qualification of level 2 or above in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is preferred but not essential if you have relevant experience working with children. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others within the team. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and parents alike. Previous experience working in a nursery or similar childcare setting is highly desirable. A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing positively to their growth and development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
