We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a particular focus on baking. As a Baker, you will play a crucial role in crafting delicious baked goods that delight our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes. Ensure all baked items meet quality standards for taste, appearance, and freshness. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop new recipes and improve existing offerings. Conduct regular equipment checks to ensure all baking tools are functioning properly and safely. Assist in training new kitchen staff on baking techniques and food safety practices.

Experience

Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or food production environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of baking techniques and culinary skills, including food preparation and safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high quality standards. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for baking and creating innovative baked goods that reflect current trends in the culinary world.

Pay: 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
