Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of cakes and traybakes according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, including food production and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food output.
Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.
Qualifications
Proven experience in food production, preparation, or cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
Culinary qualifications or relevant training is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Experience in baking is an advantage but not essential.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well within a team.
