Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a wide range of products including pastries and cookies.
Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality in all baked items.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service.
Clean and organise the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils, to maintain a safe working environment.
Stay updated on baking trends and techniques to continually enhance product offerings.
Experience
Previous experience in a bakery is paramount.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with various baking methods and equipment used in the kitchen.
A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
