Overview

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Baker to join our small team and family business. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with a strong background in baking and food production. This role requires the candidate to work efficiently with great attention to detail and a commitment to maintain high standards. The role also requires some front of house duties and customer service when required. Duties

Prepare and bake a variety of scones, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes. Ensure all baked products meet quality standards in taste, appearance, and texture. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Ability to work independently on open shifts Basic cooking Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety of all products. Assisting with front of house when required Customer service Cleaning of the kitchen/equipment

Requirements

Proven experience in a bakery or similar kitchen environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively. A passion for baking Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team and independently.

Pay: 19,212.10-36,240.36 per year

Expected hours: 24 per week
