Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a wide range of products, including bread and pastries.
Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods.
Experiment with new recipes and techniques to enhance the menu offerings.
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.
Experience
Proven experience in a bakery or similar culinary environment is required.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and baking methods.
Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations within a kitchen setting.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of baking.
A passion for baking and creativity in developing new recipes is highly desirable.
