We are seeking a skilled Baker/Kitchen Assistant to join our team, responsible for creating a variety of baked goods for our customers while maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and a strong understanding of food preparation and production processes. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and safety of our products while ensuring that every item meets our high standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a wide range of ingredients for our baked goods. Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to during food preparation and production. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, including equipment and work surfaces. Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and communicate needs to manager. Experiment with new recipes and techniques to enhance the menu offerings.

Skills

Proficient in food preparation techniques, particularly in baking. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring consistency in product quality. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen. A creative mindset with the ability to innovate new recipes and presentations.

Pay: 12.50 per hour
