We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the daily operations of our bakery, assisting in the preparation and production of a variety of baked goods. This position requires a passion for baking and an understanding of food safety practices, ensuring that all products meet our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and production of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in flavour and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and delivery of baked items. Participate in quality control checks to maintain product standards.

Skills

Previous experience in food production or preparation is highly desirable. Strong culinary skills with a focus on baking techniques. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment is an advantage. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. A passion for baking and creating high-quality products.
