Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and production of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes. Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality in all products. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with the bakery team to meet production goals and deadlines. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Assist with customer service by providing information about products and taking orders when necessary. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of baking techniques.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food production or preparation is highly desirable. A background in baking or kitchen work is an advantage. Familiarity with baking techniques and processes is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience working in a restaurant or bakery environment is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
