Beau's Bakehouse is a small bakery based in Frampton-on-Severn. We handmake a range of biscuits, slices, cakes, and sponges for local shops, farm shops and cafes.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Bakery Assistant & Relief Delivery Driver to join our small, friendly team. Your role will include hand packing our products and helping our bakers and, as a Relief Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and products to our customers to cover holiday and sickness. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and excellent driving skills. This is a permanent role with the following working hours:

Monday 8am - 2pm
Tuesday 8am - 2pm
Wednesday 8am - 2pm
Thursday 8am - 2pm
Friday 8am - 12pm

More hours available when covering the delivery driving or when we're busy - School Holidays and Bank Holidays.

Responsibilities:

- Hand packing our products.
- Assisting the bakers with ingredient preparation and possible baking when required.
- Washing dishes and clean down.
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload products from the vehicle
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Keep the van clean and tidy

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical labor
- Excellent driving skills with knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
